About
I am a PhD student currently conducting research in the field of palaeoceanography with Prof. Dharmendra Pratap Singh at Department of Earth Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India, specifically studying the Indian Ocean during the Quaternary period. My passion for this field stems from a deep curiosity about the earth's past, and how it can inform our understanding of our present and future.
Through my research, I aim to shed light on the complex interplay between ocean dynamics, climate patterns, and biotic communities in the Indian Ocean during this crucial period of earth's history. By analyzing sediment samples, isotopic signatures, planktic foraminifera assemblage and other data, I hope to piece together a more complete picture of how the region has changed over time and how those changes have affected the global climate system.
Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy hiking, reading, and exploring new places. I am also passionate about science communication and outreach, and am always looking for opportunities to share my love of climate studies with others.
Thank you for visiting my website, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to learn more about my research!
